Hi, I am Kathy or Cathy . it doesn’t matter which way you spell it, but it is funny how
other people feel about me being so flexible.
I live in East Haven, with my husband of 30 years and two adult children, 5 cats, a dog , two birds(both rescues that fell out of trees) and a couple of lizards.
I have worked at Masonicare CTVNA for two years, and will be leaving to return to Anthem, where I was laid off from after ten years.
I am very active in the Masonic family, I am an Eastern Star Officer, a Rainbow Advisor and a Demolay Advisor, my husband is a Mason, my son is a Demolay and my daughter is a Majority Rainbow Girl. My daughter and I co teach Sunday school at the Old Stone Church in East Haven.
I will complete my degree requirements when I finish this course and my ceramics course. But I still do not know what I want to be when I grow up. Maybe I would like to get a teaching certificate.
I have loved photography since I was young, I took it in high school, using the dark room at school, it is interesting how times and venues have changed. I look forward to learning more about the art of photography with you all.
I have learned in my years of growing, I spent much of my youth trying to conform to fit in, denying myself the ability to express myself as a unique kid and young adult. Now I dance whenever I can and I don’t care if others are dancing with me or just watching, as long as I am enjoying what I am doing. I dress funny, I think differently, I like different kinds of foods, I like changes, and sometimes I make a fool of myself, but it is still fun.

What a great introduction!

What about art therapy? You would get paid to work in a clinical setting, helping people as you do now, but at a professional level.

Welcome!

Hi Kathy or Cathy,
I work at a hospital, and we work with the visiting nurses association all the time. You guys are great! Nice to meet you!

Hi Kathy :)

I love your closing lines. I wish I could be less concerned with what others think... I suppose that is why I hate taking pictures of myself! (I noticed that you didn't mention hating this assignment as most of us have) We should all try to be ourselves and act like fools more often!

wow, who would think that something so simple, as making a fool out of oneself would encourage or insire any one other than myself. God calls us all, and I am glad to have been of service, I really miss the class room, I know it is easy to online anytime, but you all sound so kool, you all have such neat stories, I wish I could meet with you all for drinks and get to know you. I will look forward to knowing you thru your photos. And thanks for our comments, I really appreciate them.

Hi Kathy,
I glad to hear that your almost finished. I've spoken with Bridget and just saw Floyd today. They are both doing well. You must be looking forward to returning to Blue Cross.
These are my first courses since we finished. I'm also taking a computer course and will need 2 more to finish up. maybe we can take some photos together during this course.
