These are photos I took this summer. A Dragon Fly, a bee on a Cosmo, A Purple Rose, A up close of an Amaryllis, and a Freeon burn, that I wish I had taken a picture before the doctor debrided the blister. I will try to play with a scanner and see what I can create.

These are incredibly beautiful pictures. I thought we were on the shadows and light week not the macro week. I'd better go back and read my syllabus and catch up!! That finger-freon burn looks painful - I hope you have recovered by now!!

Remember to keep the lid up (so the background goes black) and to select a small area with the selection tool in the scanner preview....
